Most homeowners never think about this uncommon security tip, but it is one of the easiest ways an intruder can gain access to your home. This can be done two ways, in as little as 6 seconds:

1. Break the window in the car garage, reach in and pull the emergency release string that dangles in front of the window!
2. Insert a coat hanger between the top of the door and frame, then hook the pull cord.
